Hello! I am Ms. Speers and am currently teaching biology and chemistry. I have always loved science and have a varied background in a number of different specialties. I have a B.S. in Marine Biology, a M.S. in Biochemistry of Nutrition and both research and industry experience. However, I love teaching and am looking forward to the coming year!
I'm still getting used to the Florida heat (I am from up north) but definitely love all of the sun! I'm always doing something outside like camping, scuba diving, or running and I am learning to surf. I am an avid dog lover but at the moment I am the proud guardian to Ruby, a red-eared slider turtle, and Mr. Miyagi, a lion head bunny.
