Class Information:
The US History course is conducted in a manner to fulfill the standards laid out by the Florida Department of Education, while maintaining enough rigor to prepare students for the IB or Honors-AP programs at both Stanton and Paxon, as well as the various college preparatory programs throughout the district.
Students will express their understanding of the content through various exercises including: projects, performances, Socratic seminars, debates, writing, exams, and reading.
Eighth Grade United States History addresses:
