Welcome students and parents!
Let me introduce myself: My name is Ms. Howard and I will be your child's 7th grade Agriscience/ 6th grade Science Teacher for the 2015-2016 school year. I'm looking forward to an exciting year. It is my goal to provide all students with an educationally challenging, yet exploratory, experience in my classroom. I graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Marine Biology. Since graduation I’ve cultivated a passion for science education through my experiences with the Georgia Sea Turtle Center’s and Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens’ educational department. My time as a substitute teacher for Duval County schools propelled that passion into becoming a certified teacher.
Science is a very demanding course. Preparation, participation and positive attitudes are key essentials for a productive year. I have extremely high expectations of all my students.
