Hello and welcome to Jamesville
My name is Avius James and i'm an graduate of the Bethune Cookman University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Educational Studies K-6. I'm currently a Master's student at St. Thomas University.
This school year makes my thrid year of taeching. I started my teaching career at Smart Pope Livingston in fourth grade Mathematics/Science. I believe that teaching is truly one of the most rewarding professions. I am extremely fortunate to be able to work with the students of this community.
Second grade is a huge year for students! The students grow so much academically as well as socially. Our second grade classroom is a lively, yet structured place. Our academics require that we stay on a regimented schedule which keeps us moving, but we have a lot of fun with everything we do. It is my hope that second grade will be a wonderful experience that your child can build upon and remember for years to come!
