- Reading: with guidance and support, retell a story using key details and ask and answer questions about key details
- Math: decompose numbers up to 10 and use decomposing to solve story problems.
- Science: continue indepth research of amphibians.
- Cultural: continue study of the continent of Africa, including geography, animals, and landmarks

Home Learning and Snack Calendar
Home Learning - homework packets will come home on Monday and are due Friday. Please remember that in addition to the homework packet, students are expected to complete i-ready lessons (3 math and 3 reading), study sight words, and read a book with an adult every night. We are currently studying non-fiction texts and your child would benefit from reading these types of books with you as well. After reading with your child have them work on recalling key details from the book.
Snack Calendar
Our snack calendar is currrently empty! If you are able to provide snacks for a week please let me know. If you'd like to just send in a snack now and then, that is great, too. Please remember that there needs to be enough snacks for the entire class (18 students).
