Courses
HOPE - Health and Physical Education, required course, 11th grade
Personal Fitness
Weight Training

All activity courses require students to dress out in the Darnell Cookman uniform.  The uniform consists of the blue tie-dyed Darnell Cookman shirt, Darnell Cookman shorts, and athletic shoes.  Students not dressed out are not able to participate and are unable to receive full points for the day.  Grades are posted weekly.

Daily points:
Dressed out:     2
Participation:    5
Sportsmanship: 3
Total:               10

Students are allowed to bring water in a closed container since there are no water fountains at the activity area.
Students may wear sweat pants and sweat shirts over their uniforms in cooler weather (we do go outside).
Athletic shoes must be worn.  Sperrys, slides, and boots are not athletic shoes.
Participation consists of the student participating at the best of his/her ability.
Sportsmanship involves respecting self, others and equipment, and following rules.

Students are to lock all belongings in their locker.  Do not leave anything unattended.
Do not bring anything of value to the locker room.
Electronics of any kind are not allowed in class - violation of rule is poor sportsmanship
